The city that has been so much of my childhood has gone by in a blink of an eye. It doesn’t feel right. I wandered aimlessly the last day trying to absorb as much as I could. Enough to get me by before I return. Oh yes. I shall return. For a longer period of time, no doubt.

And for the most part rained the majority of the day. So, I stuck with the museums. First up, the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I heard you could get on the roof. After navigating the building for about 20 minutes, I found the elevator to the top. And the was promptly escorted back down as it wasn’t open yet. So, I wandered through time for a few hours. Next up, Natural History Museum. But I was only after seeing one thing. The Hayden Planetarium. Nothing like having Whoopi Goldberg navigate you through time and space.

After doing a video conference call in Time Square (no joke) with someone back in Calgary, I decided a break was in order. Found this lovely bar, Bar on Fifth, talked with the bartender who gave me some cool restaurants to go to in Soho and I was off. Still quite the busy day overall.
